Claiming on a LR Approved Warranty for work done in Europe |
|
Hi,
Anyone had to make a claim for work carried out whilst in Europe on an Approved LR Warranty? Just wondering how LR monitors the 60 day rule? Did they ask for copies of your travel documents/ferry tickets etc?
Any of the warranty companies give better EU cover? I travel a lot and could exceed the 60 days in 2 years.
Ta in advance!

No one had to claim? Did with my BMW bike without problem.
The 60 days rule seems a little restrictive whilst we are part of Europe and the Single Market - both NFU and SAGA allow European travel without limit.
I am sure that I am not the only member who leads a split European life ....
Just trying to figure out if LR Approved is worth it - or am I better of looking at trusted Independents.
