Marshall's Melton Mowbray |
|
Just a quick note to say what a good experience I had here today.
Booked my recently purchased 07 D3 in for a diagnostic check of a front end noise so I have something concrete to go back to the garage I bought it from with.
They were really understanding of the fact that I was after support rather than than repair and I felt like I was treated just the same as any customer of theirs. They organised a courtesy car to get me to work, fully explained all the findings, their recommendations and future actions JLR repair costs, and the motor was gleaming when I picked it up... They had even hoovered the sand out of it from our recent trip to the coast!
They were recommended to me by my independent as they have known the service manager for a long time and assured me I would be treated well which I certainly was. Not my closest dealer by a long chalk, but well worth the trip!
Of course they were expensive, but in this instance, money very well spent! Natasha and James in the service department were great!

I had to use Marshalls in Abingdon when I had a Reduced Performance error when on holiday over the summer. They took it straight in for a diagnostic, replaced the o-ring which had failed and gave me the car back in 45 minutes - no charge, but free coffee and biscuits.
Very pleased!
Only downside was that the wait gave elder son a chance to look at the second-hand Jags on the forecourt.... he's been on a mission ever since to persuade SWMBO to swap out her Evoque.

Marshalls Peterborough were the same some years back when my turbo failed - I took it there for diagnosis and when I told them I would look elsewhere for repair they didn't even charge me for it.

Bought from Marshall's Melton Mowbray in 2009 - Excellent |

I bought my last D3 from Marshall's Melton Mowbray in March 2009.
They were excellent; worth travelling from Hampshire to get the right car, one of the last new D3s.
