Having recently bought this, I now need to insure it and the usual suspects of Caravan Guard, C&CC and the now C&MC won't touch it.
My next step is to call Adrian Flux (my car insurer) and A-Plan (site sponsor) but, before i do, wondered if any of you with your own-build trailers or perhaps unusual imported caravans have any others to consider?

Isn't it just a caravan? D4 HSE EU6 (Known as Jeeves)
New Defender L663 110 SE (known as Noddy!) Sold
Sold Volvo XC90 R-Design (known as Basil)
Sold - D4 HSE (Known as Gerty)
No longer the Old Buses original owner
231,000 miles and counting
05 S manual owned from March 2005
D4 Face lifted
Still original injectors and turbo
V8 Front brakes
BAS Remap, Allisport Intercooler and deCat
EGRs blanked
T-Max split charge
Hanibal Expeedition rack
Prospeed ladder
Duratrac tyres
IID BT
BAS FBH control
You're right, Moo. It is just a caravan. But because it wasn't imported by a dealer and therefore doesn't have older NCC or newer CRiS numbers, they won't touch it.Front Runner Rack, OEM Ladder & RAI, Tuff-Trek Foxwing, B'rakhah Ingonyama Expedition Trailer, RLD's Spare Wheel Protector, Bodsy's Bars, Empty Pockets! A-Plan won't insure a non-UK caravan so it looks like Adrian Flux.Front Runner Rack, OEM Ladder & RAI, Tuff-Trek Foxwing, B'rakhah Ingonyama Expedition Trailer, RLD's Spare Wheel Protector, Bodsy's Bars, Empty Pockets! Member of Gloucestershire & Worcestershire 4x4 Response.
