 thing still not working! It smokes but doesn’t fire up! 😭 D3 x2 now gone

This is probably the time when a prime IS required.
Has it locked out? Are you starting it from diagnostic software, a remote or just using the D3 to start it? 06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti

Update! I’m using my iid to check it! I had primed it without success! I was about to give up when I thought let’s blow some air in with the compressor and crikey did it smoke and it FIRED UP!🍾🍾 D3 x2 now gone

Yes the burner is OK.
Remove the 4 pin plug from your FBH ECU (it has no wires) and plug in the 4 pin plug from the new burner. 06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti

Nice 👍🏻 Metal auto sump & fluid change (3 hrs)
LR door puddle projectors (10 mins)
Tinted Bonnet wind deflector (10 mins)
All Intercooler pipes and Tbolts (2hrs)
3 injectors replaced so far (30mins)
Sunroof drain pipes both sides 2.5 hrs)
Rear discs, shoes,pads,callipers,flexi hoses, rigid brake line, n/s upper hub carrier bush and rear n/s upper arm (13hrs over 2 days)
