Looks like the 2.0 Ingenium engine is failing at low mileages according to reports on the Disco Sport forum.

something about balance shaft bearings failing, also common on the Jags apparently. I've seen reports at 2000, 3500, 6000, miles, see https://www.discosportforums.co.uk/search....sf=msgonly

The engine also has an oil dilution issue due to the DPF, which leads to reduced oil change intervals --
