So had it plugged in today and it brought up 12 faults codes
4 related to Body Control, 3 to the Engine and 1 to the Transmission.
One of the engine ones was P0087-00(68 ) Fuel rail/system pressure too low and the transmission one was U2023-86(28 ) Engine torque information Bus signal/message failure signal is invalid.
Put some fuel in this morning as I was under a quarter of a tank, only done 22 miles and not got over 30 mph today and all was fine. I've had the codes cleared and have been loaned an IID tool for a week or so. I'll plug it in after a couple of days and see what shows up or sooner if needs be.
Will update in due course. Thanks for all the replies and kind comments about the old girl, Hardwear17

Might be worth changing the fuel filter, I know it was serviced recently, but it's a starting point.
Then if the problem reoccurs, check the fuel pressure at the schreider valve near the HPFP (injector pump), it should be 6-7 psi with the engine off.
I had the same code last month and it ended up being the HPFP, but I was never able to get the car running normally, even after resetting the faults, they just came straight back as soon as the car was driven.
Good luck. Simon.

Thanks for that. It drove fine yesterday and I'll check to see if any faults have reappeared later.

Same codes as before. Will see if I can get my hands on a fuel filter tomorrow and change that and see if that works. D4 MY15 SE TECH

Fuel filter sorted it for a while but came back last week. Changed the fuel pressure sensor and all was good for a couple of days. Came back yesterday and 5 times today
All the faults are the same. Going to put a new battery in as I’ve still got the original in on an 08 motor.
Getting a bit off with it now. D4 MY15 SE TECH

Yep it sure does.
Thinking of selling it and considering alternatives. Amongst the contenders is FL2 or a pickup as I use it for work plus need to tow the caravan and get all my camping gear in. D4 MY15 SE TECH

So ... Fuel filter fixed it for several weeks?
Has to be in the pipes. There's someone else posting same issues. .

Obviously it depends on what codes you pull up.
And mine - but it faulted originally under pretty specific circumstances - acceleration at about 2000rpm. When it developed, I could get it to fault at will pretty much
This doesn't sound the same - but without codes, it really could be anything Mark.

Other people have said that changing the filter helped for a few weeks but in the end they changed hpfp and was fine from then onwards.
