Too much choice.....
I’m just worried about paying out so much only to find what I actually use, I could have gotten from the others....Land Rover Discovery 3 HSE

no probs and understand where ur coming from, i went through this when i bought my disco, what diagnostic reader to get, as i’m going to keep mine long term it made sense, having one to hand, not having to pay out garage fees or wait if i wished to set something up , also having a good resale
think the main thing where the iid is ahead of others are —\0—\0—\0-
set up and calibrate suspension , inc height sensors
reflash engine , transfer and autogearbox ecus
free updates with excellent backup and technical advice
being able turn CCF features on and off
can see what each injector is doing in the way of psi and establish if they are worn
easy to use via ur iphone or ipad and can print out results
from a personal point of view with the aid of the iid , i had an airbag light , i was able to test each airbag ohm readings to allow me to fault find the entire srs system and fix it
the list goes on and on
know that u know , but at the end of the day once an iid is used 10 x times its already paid for itself with ur garage charging £45 quid each time
at the end of the day i also felt at first it was a lot of money but has been a blessing and they can do virtually the same as the main dealers T4 diagnostic machine
the choice is urs,

Hmmmm.........
did u get ur 4x4 screen activated
running board is a side step, or another thing people fit are rock sliders to protect ur sills when greenlaning
Doubt that's what it means in this context... What can iiD detect about side steps?.

4x4 screen was already activated by previous owner.
Yes, as Hardware said, I was referring to how the IID works with running board. Makes no sense to me that one.Land Rover Discovery 3 HSE

Automatically deployed side step, - forget it, and forget all other units, clear your mind and concentrate on IID tool BT

Yeah, I’d like those as skid plates but as the most mine sees is a curb I have the wide flat ones.... I think genuine ones....Land Rover Discovery 3 HSE
