Trims heating ...heeelllppp
Since me and electrics shouldn't mix can someone spot anything obvious in the picture that seems wrong?
It is the control box that sits on the back of the truma heater in my wobble box.

I'm assuming then it shouldn't be brown on top?
Also assuming this could be the cause of the electric heating not working?Just remember:-

Without testing couldn't say, the over-temp and temp stats tend to fail quite often, they are on the element side and are circular silver disks.
When testing they should have continuity between the two terminals.
Ours failed on our van-they physically looked ok but no continuity between the pins. When I tried to remove them they fell apart.
Fitted new ones and all ok.

I assume I need to strip fire down to get to the heater element to check the over temp and temp stats?Just remember:-

Looks like a transformer that has burnt the problem is locating the fault that has caused it to overheat"Never keep up with the Joneses. Drag'em down to your level. It's cheaper".

Two of the cables that go from the pcb to the front of the fire go to the over-temp stat and the temp stat (wired in series)but for the life of me can't remember the colours. Might be worth ringing truma and asking them to save you taking the fire out(Truma Tec support are really helpful), you can then test at the pcb end by taking the wires out of the pcb connector and testing on the wires.
