? link between oil pressure warning light and passanger seat |
|
Help,
The oil pressure warning light comes on with the passenger seatbelt light on dashboard when nobody is in passenger seat. The alarm for the seatbelt can be stopped by plugging in seatbelt but the oil light often stays lit for another minute or 2. Oil light goes out 2 seconds after start up and level is good. RAC tested faults and get a UO140 - lost communication with body control module and B1A80 Oil pressure - they felt problem with instrument cluster.
The odd bit is if driving without any faults and thumping the passenger seat brings both oil and seatbelt alarms together so the seat pressure sensor must be in some way involved.
Cannot find anything searching the forum
Thanks in advance for reading
