Unbeliavable! A third party company making a new part to improve the design of a highly paid designer, on a already very expensive car...McGovern will be very embarassed when he sees it, so will LR!

Nevertheless it makes the back end slightly less ugly. Shame they don't address the split tailgate issue.

I bet that really Gerry off Front Runner Rack, OEM Ladder & RAI, Tuff-Trek Foxwing, B'rakhah Ingonyama Expedition Trailer, RLD's Spare Wheel Protector, Bodsy's Bars, Empty Pockets! Member of Gloucestershire & Worcestershire 4x4 Response.
The easiest alteration would be to sack the designer!!!! Front Runner Rack, OEM Ladder & RAI, Tuff-Trek Foxwing, B'rakhah Ingonyama Expedition Trailer, RLD's Spare Wheel Protector, Bodsy's Bars, Empty Pockets! Member of Gloucestershire & Worcestershire 4x4 Response.

Wow looks so much better. Wonder how much Jerry’s pride/arrogance is worth before LR change it themselves.

To me the D5 is now famous for its wonky rear end, it’s an iconic feature of the car. A talking point.
£725 just to have a central number, no thanks. Also not sure I want to start cutting away at brand new car and possibly void the warranty, should there be issues with the tailgate.
Happy with OEM poor design rather than paying extra for aftermarket tat.23.5MY Defender 90 X-Dynamic SE D250 MHEV Pangea Green

Would love to see that with a UK plate, as to be fair even the ‘before’ image looks better with the German plate on itD4 XS, gone, much loved, never forgotten

Knew someone would do that, I thought it might have been the guys at Urban. Totally transforms the back end and looks how it should have been originally designed!2020 BMW X1 18d XDrive X-Line Auto
