DAB Pure Highway 400 install

All

After a bit of fiddling I have eventually installed a neat DAB radio mod.
The new Pure Highway are not designed to work with external aerials but I now have it working with a rear mag mount and the reception is perfect.
Roll on the Xmas songs

Hi,

I'm looking at buying the Pure Highway 600 and was wondering how difficult it would be to install - what difficulties did you encounter? Further, were you able to integrate it ok with the head unit and/or steering controls? Were you able to stream music etc from your phone without issues? Signal ok?

Cheers, Sam

I just plugged it into the aux socket. The hardest bit is the aerial. I used a mag mount on the roof to get a good signal.

I fitted the Pure 600 not long after buying my Disco, lasted about 2 weeks and then wouldn't work, took it back and swapped the unit and that one did the same thing, eventually got my money back.
Man from Halfords spoke to the makers and they asked him to return the whole batch.
That said when it did work I had no problem with it. Fitting was very easy.
