I have been having lots of problems with my FBH the last couple of weeks. It will not fire up at all and I only get what is a rough coughing type sound for a minute or so and a bit of smoke, then nothing. I have BAS remote fitted and it works well and I have checked it using Hawkeye and this week I bought the diagnostics kit off here and used the Webasto software to try and start it up.
All I get is attempts to start a lot of smoke and after approx. 100 seconds the fuel pump and Glow plug switch off. The only fault showing up is fail to start.
I have used the software to check the components and the value that worries me is that the test shows the glow plug at 27 %
During the attempts to fire it actually peaks between 100% and 81% and then quickly drops to 55 to 61%, but the red Flame lamp on the right on the screen does not light up at any time
Does anyone know what the component test values should be please, and have any ideas what to do or look at next
