Googsy wrote:Right I have ordered the 275 45r 20s General Grabber UHPS. Works out the same as ordering from the UK and I have added peace of mind as its a local fitter etc all for 1400 Euro. Still not entirely happy with 110 rating but thanks to Barrgs formula should be all ok. Thanks all for your help!

Googsy put your mind at rest these will be perfect (OZ Disco's run on 109)
the 295's IMO for these road are just a bit to much ... the Grabbers are the best tyre
I have evey had . they tick all the boxes
Look 8) ,
Very small amount of road noise.
Great in the wet.
Sports card handling in the Cornors ... (You will let go ..long before the tyres do )
Long lasting .

No bother Googsy totally understand
33 Front / 36 Rear is spot on, that's what I ran the 20's on the Sport. Not sure though if the extra weight of the D3 might require different though.

Not sure if I'm contravening any rules by posting this, it's not a commercial post. But I just wanted to let anyone looking at tyres for their D3 know that a mate of mine has a set each of 295/45 110 20 Pirelli Scorpion Zero & 295/45 114 20 Conti Contact Sport 4X4 in stock & would do a good deal for anyone who wanted them.
When I was putting the Stormers on the RRS, I initially went for 295/45's & my mate got in a set of Pirelli Scorpions for me. But when I put them on the car, we found that they were rubbing on the suspension, so promptly took them off again the next day.
We then ordered up a set of Conti's in 275/40 which I put on.
But now my mate is stuck with the tyres & I feel a bit guilty about that. So if anyone is in the market for tyres, PM & can let you have the details.

All depends on the wheel Marcon.
I've ran 295 Contis and now 295 Grabbers on my Stormers with no rubbing issues.
However if it's a different wheel ie V spoke, you might get rubbing [as Al Cope reckoned on his]. ...... always on the road less travelled 🚧
