Hi I am new to the forum so sorry if these points have been raised before.
I have a 07 plate ld3 se and my new mobile phone won't pair with the bluetooth. The phone is a
sony erricson k800i. Anyone else had this problem ?
Also i have had to replace the fuse for the front fog lights a couple on times now. Is this a common fault ?
Thanks in advance....

Hey Thanks for the reply.
It is the factory fitted bluetooth option.(with the buttons on the steering wheel) My old sony erricson phone connected no probs
but just can't get this one to connect. When the phone searches for new devices it finds 'Land Rover' no problem
but after entering the pin code it replies 'Blutooth connection failed'
Cheers for your help

I'm using a K800i with no problems with an 07 HSE.
Silly question, I know, but are you pairing with the correct code ("2121") and making sure you select "Handsfree" -> "My Handsfree" -> "Land Rover" from the Bluetooth menu on the phone after pairing (lets the phone know which bluetooth kit to use as handsfree if there's more than one paired setup in range).
Hope this helps! Rob aka gringle

Admirable honesty, after all we´ve all done something equally daft/misguided at some stage....or are about to

My last one was discovering that LED bulbs only work when inserted the right way round.
Of course this was after phoning UltraLEDs and shouting at them about their shoddy product Rob aka gringle

In answer to your other point, the front fogs are a known issue and the dealer needs to fix the wiring loom.

The standard 'fix' being a bit of insulating tape around the loom and some foam tape on the steel bumper behind the lights...

Hey Thanks for this. I will get the dealer to fix this when it goes in for it's first service. Cheers.
