In the VW / Audi word they are already retro fitting these types of displays in the last model.
I'd say if you can stomach the price of the display it will be able to be retro fitted.

My MY14 Volvo V70 already has a fully digital display... three different display modes with different panel look,, start and stop animations and all the bling. It’s not exactly rocket science, is it

True though I did deliver plenty on lease though the digital dashboards were abit dodgy back then I think I even ran out of fuel once D4 HSE Lux MY16 Club Waitomo

Not sure why it wasn’t available at launch as it’s been on FFRR since launch and the RRS for a few years I think.
Maybe it was part of the effort to set it apart from the RRs at launch, keep it more utilitarian. Now they realise they’re only really selling to RR customers so they’re pushing it upmarket anyway?
