I'm fully expecting a tirade of abuse but nothing will dent my enthusiasm.
The colour is Byron Blue with the Dynamic pack one (in and out).
About as blingy as it gets.

D4 HSE 2012 Like a second wife, more expensive but goes better! I almost cried this time!

I suppose having the digital dash will make it easier to see the service warning, AdBlue error warning, suspension error warning and I’m sure there was another Ner Ner

Not that I’m jealous

Look on the bright side though, at least we won’t be paying V*lv* spare parts prices! Laughing

Over 4 1/2 years, beyond regular service, the Volvo has required zero spare parts. A similar one before it did the same over 5 years and 110000 km. The V50 before both of them did the same as did the V40 and the V70 classic MY00.

Decent build quality and continuing onward reliability, now that's a novel concept. Laughing Laughing

Indeed, the V40 at least was built in the Netherlands and I think it shared something with some Mitsubishi model... wasn’t made in Sweden, I mean. What is nice that the Chinese owners haven’t made it worse.

Perhaps it’s a bit like British cooking - it’s rumored to be worse than it is Wink

I’ll get me coat .. Thumbs Up

Can’t really say that I’ve noticed any difference in reliability and build quality between the Volvo V70’s and the Land Rovers Thumbs Up

Not sure why it wasn’t available at launch as it’s been on FFRR since launch and the RRS for a few years I think.

Maybe it was part of the effort to set it apart from the RRs at launch, keep it more utilitarian. Now they realise they’re only really selling to RR customers so they’re pushing it upmarket anyway?

Maybe LR read this forum???

The D5 is still an over priced thought bubble.
