A few deep breaths always seems to help me when I get frustrated
By the way, I'm not current or ex military, so does that make me a lower class of person?

Well Therso, you say you're a vet, so that means EX- military. Good thing too as I would not have wanted to be around near you under REAL fire!!!
happens. Get over it.
A friend of mine was involved in a tremendous accident which nearly killed him (six months in hospital and now paralysed down one side). But he still takes life as it comes and is bloody grateful he is not six feet under. He is also always smiling regardless of circumstances.
Therso, be grateful you are still in a position to vent your anger, and calm down a bit, There are plenty worse off than you!!
I have a suggestion. Why not contact Advance Factors and apologise for your outburst and see if it makes you feel a little better and a bit more humble. We all have a life to live.
I had a heart attack a few days before Christmas and am now waiting to go in to hospital and have a new heart valve fitted. Does that mean I can be rude to everyone that makes a mistake?2007 Disco3 2.7 tdv6 SE

Sorry to hear about the heart attack - keep smiling; I had a quad by-pass 14 months ago and all is now well.
Good luck.

Many thanks. I just want to get it over with now and get back to a 'normal' life.
I trust that you are now in a position to enjoy your MGs. I once owned a B engined A back in the 60's.

If you stick your head above the parapet then expect to be shot down! I have no problem with that at all. I do wish I was more understanding and sympathetic.

I'll be quite happy with the high blood pressure if they're attractive. Trouble is, at my age it's all about memories! 2007 Disco3 2.7 tdv6 SE

My indi generally only fits parts he supplies, and not parts provided by the customer, and this is probably the way it should be. If you want to buy your own bits, you should fit them yourself

many many years ago in an angry youth, a very dear friend of my father and someone I respected and respect even more since their passing, for all of the advice they gave me, which I listened to but foolishly did not always act on said to me when I was in a furious rage one day.
“To you it may appear that the situation is fubar’ed, Re-assess it, Re-plan and get on with it. Your rage only clouds your rational thought, tomorrow when your plan has been proven you will wonder what it was all about now get on and make a plan and smarter yourself up while you’re about it”
Maybe you could learn something from that, I did.Commercial SDV6 8 Speed 255

how very true
my life was put into prospective when my wife felt poorly , 6 x weeks later she died in my arms , so wrong parts do indeed become very trivial in the way of importance
