Dash Cam hardwire
I’ve just fitted my Nextbase 312GW, I purchased the hardwire kit and tapped into fuse 55 for the cigarette lighter.
How long does this fuse stay ‘live’ for after shutting the car down? I noticed the camera wasn’t shutting down for approx 5 mins after. I’ve taken the camera out to avoid draining the battery.

That circuit is switched via the ignition Aux, it should be off when the ignition is off.GAP IID Pro Multi Vehicle Defender L316 2007-2015 - Discovery 3 - Discovery 4 - Discovery Sport L550 - Freelander 2 - Range Rover Evoque L538 - Range Rover L322 - Range Rover L405 - Range Rover Sport L320 - Range Rover Sport L494 Electrical Fault Diagnostics

Hmm, I wonder if it’s a setting on the dash cam itself then?

There is 100% a setting on the camera for shutdown (I have 412Gw), so certainly check that out first.

Thanks, I had it set at 10 seconds but it wasn’t working?
I’m going to move the tap to fuse 47 and see if that helps at all.
In fact, I turned the parking mode off and the g sensor and it stayed off, does that have any relevance?
