I know when I picked my 12 month old Landmark back in September that all the checks had not been done as the screen washer bottle was only about a third full.

Don't know if I should start a new thread on this...............
The RSE comes with the 2 sets of BT headphones (still with plastic wrapping on!) but no remote control and couldn't seem to activate any form of touchscreen??
Should the system be supplied with a RSE remote control unit AS STANDARD?????
Sales guy said it was an option?????
The car is a 66 plate Landmark
Should be a pair of Whitefire Headphones, not BT plus the remote, salesman is being a salesman, not an option, standard with RSE.
You need them and they are not cheap, there was a set on here for sale which were an absolute bargain.
Check in the map pockets in the back of the two font seats.

The 165 point check - about as valuable as Andrex but then again Andrex could be more valuable depending on circumstances

Do the ticks mean they are checked and OK, just checked or just ticked?

“When you buy a car, not any car mind you, but especially an approved Land Rover you’re truly getting the best of the best.
Previously - Selected, curated and lovingly cared after by its previous owner. Granny Smith didn’t want to trade in her trusty steed but finally accepted a fair offer by the polite and well mannered salesman who sold her a D5.
The fine vehicle has always been seen to and serviced by an authorized Jaguar Land Rover service center where ONLY qualified technicians in white coats were allowed access to it.
To ensure only the best of the best of the best vehicles that are good enough for our customers JLR chief engineers instituted the legendary 165 checklist - their secret recipie - to select only the best of the best of the best vehicles to the front showroom where they await their next owner, ready to serve faultlessly and dependably until next scheduled service interval.”
Who am I kidding? 8)
The checklist is partly common sense and mostly marketing. every dealer pretends their cars are driven by the nice granny who never used kick down, never machine washed it, never did off-road, never didn’t fender bender anyone or drag race from the stop lights.....
The forum wasn’t everything else humor either... I’ll get me coat.

They are part of the RSE, not an option. So you really should get them from the dealer.
As I've no idea how to use the RSE and no interest in reading the manual to learn, the headphones and remote were stored at home. My previous Landmark was smashed up and I opted to not have it back. Hence why I have a few bits and pieces from it. 2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE

We used the RSE in the D4 and use it in the RR a huge amount and we can still only get it to do what we want more by luck than judgement! We’ve never used either of the remotes for fear of making it even worse
Use it for playing DVDs and don’t challenge it with anything more complex and it’s good enough.
Enjoy the rest of the car though, they’re brilliant! 2011 - 2015: 3 x FL2
