I know the owners very well!
Vince and Edd Cobley are great guys with a massive wealth of experience. I used to live near Rockingham, I still drive there from Derby to have my D4 serviced by Rockingham Land Rovers.
Edd is he best driver of land rovers you'll meet (apart from me He and his dad Vince do a lot of work for LRO Magazine, Edd also drives for most of the displays at the LRO Show.
Edd also drives for Bowler and is the lead instructor at LRE Rockingham.
I've known them for a long time, I haven't been abroad with them, but their knowledge of Land Rovers and Off Roading in general is second to none.
I don't endorse many people so I hope they pay commission.. Disco4 MY16 SDV6 Landmark Black

Great, thanks all.
Probs going to go with them for my first Morocco trip but wanted to first do a weekender to see how it goes. All thumbs up by sounds of it then. Happy days.
P. S. That's a UK weekender obviously..... Not a Morocco weekender Cogito ergo sum!

I know the company, plus Vince and Edd. I have also been to morocco with protrax, although Vince and edd are unlikely to be on the trips these days, it is hosted/lead by Charles and Yvonne, who are a great retired couple whom have been doing the trips in excess of 10 years and spent 6 months every year living overland in their 110 away from home as protrax employees.
Charles I believe may have also been an instructor either at Rockingham or a LRE centre.
I would not hesitate to consider then if I wanted to go again or just to have a beer around a fire 👍CLUB DEFNER

We have just booked to go with them to the Pyrenees June 13th - 27th this year. Spoke to Vince twice this afternoon very helpful and reassuring, very quick to return calls and emails.
So all good so far.
Joining them for a training day on 3rd March hoping to get SWMBO to do some off road driving!!!

Hi all, I've done a couple of 1 on 1 training days with Edd, once at the LR Experience at Rockingham and the second was at Tixover Pit, both fantastic days and I must say Edd makes it very enjoyable and a great learning experience. I'd never believed my D4 would make it over the rock crawl at Tixover let alone have done it before then!
I've also done North Wales and Salisbury Plain weekenders with them with Darren leading, again both great weekends, Wales being very technical in places (one word of warning if anyone does it, there's one extremely narrow gate with a very awkwardly placed rock that I'd not do again; even with the wing mirrors turned in I scraped the nearside mirror and marked the plastic and how the bodywork made it through I just don't know, I was absolutely shi**ing myself! It wasn't just me, I know of another D4 that did the same route with the same scrapes on the mirror). Salisbury was muddy fun
I'm also booked on the 13th to 27th June Pyrenees trip with them which I'm hugely looking forward to 8)
Edd driving my D4 on the axle twister at Tixover
there's also a couple of GoPro vids on the Salisbury Plain trip on YouTube

I would echo others as i have only ever heard positive things about these guys. Not the cheapest, but you get value from their experience and most keep going back so that said a lot about the quality.2008 TDV6 HSE
