Note, the Phantom 3 4k is a huge improvement over the standard Phantom 3 and bar software enhancements like obstacle avoidance - you'd have to be a professional drone pilot to notice the difference between this and a 4.

I was flying the spark at icefest.
I bought the spark for it's portability, as in, it fits in a rucksack when you go skiing!
The phantom remains a superior device in terms of distance (about 2km), speed, stability (especially in high winds) and camera quality and it has a three axis gimbal. I just found I have not used it (since Chepstow camp and not since getting the spark.D3 07 SE - still going strong

£350 for the 4K is about right, so he would be getting the range extender thingies, the extra battery and the filters for free.
I’m going to get it up tomorrow and fly it. Not been out of its box in a few months...D3 07 SE - still going strong

Certainly I would post it. £10 in the UK by collectplus and fully insured to the value.
It is in perfect working order.
You need an app for your phone/tablet (what you are going to use to interface with the device) and that is free from their website and quick and easy to install. No phone provided please note. You will have to supply your own!
I can help you get going, no question, however, you should definitely research youtube on setting up and starting procedures and also some common faults and general advice and tips. I can provide links to places to start.
This is an expensive bit of kit to crash!
(PS. I have never crashed it and as far as I know it has never been crashed)

Also worth looking at the current regulations when you start out.
Even a little baby like this could seriously injure or do something even worse if you don't know what you're doing.

You can get info country by country, for example, there are just a few tiny black spots around ski resorts in France and you can get arrested for trying to take one into Morocco.
But don't worry too much, there are facebook groups and forum sites, much like this one, specifically for your drone D3 07 SE - still going strong
