Not very water tight Mark that’s why I got rid of mine & got a Howling Moon.
If I were you I would get a ‘European’ spec fly sheet for the tent as I had nothing but trouble with mine with the original one that was brand new from Nene.
The European spec one has a brown tarpaulin top that helps to get rid of the water faster off the roof to help prevent pooling.
Every time it rained it would pool on the top of the fly shee & then start coming through.
Also the tent cover is not fully removable like the HM one so when it ’s down the water ends up sat in the cover so when packing away your tent gets wet .
I must say that I do think the material used on the Hannibal is better/ heavier quality than the HM.
Here’s a photo of the different flysheet. You may even be able to get someone local to see a piece onto the top of your existing flysheet.
Enjoy the new purchase
Thanks for that Martin.I Will certainly look into that when i get it. By the way how was yours mounted onto your rack (With the 2 aluminium channels that take the bolt head ?) The one I am going to buy/collect on Wednesday does not have them so I suspect its been adapted to fit a trailer which may cause me a few problems when I am down in Exeter. I will need to take a few different fixings with me including ratchet straps. Or hire a van and just put it in the back until I can get it home to my garage.The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything;
They just make the best of everything they have.

Do you have a rack or bars Mark ?
First time I ever had it on my Hannibal rack I messed about bolting it on to the rack through the tent base board. Bit of fannying around really.
Next time I mounted it onto another rack I just got 4 self cutting roofing/cladding fixings & screwed it directly through the base board into the rack rails.
If you can’t do any of these when you collect it just get some of the heavier duty ratchet straps to secure it.
That will be ok to get you home.
