Just took out a policy with A-plan thatcham, I think it was Chris. Knocked 50% off renewal quote for E36 M3 thanks 24MY X-Dynamic HSE Defender 110.

I still can't get my head round why that happened, to me it doesn't make sense.
Why cancel and not just change details and add a little bit more due to being a new vehicle ?

It would have been an unacceptable vehicle for your previous insurer, we try to change the vehicle wherever possible but if the insurer declines the quotation then we have to move you to a new insurer that will accept the new risk proposed...
