d3 park brake
hi all new to this i’m getting a message on my d3 dash says press clutch or foot brake to release park brake when the engine is running this started after the dreaded screeching was just wondering if this is to do with the brake needing adjusting i’ve had the screeching before and adjusted it and was fine untill now
just finding the message a bit of a srange one

Did it used to auto release before?

no always had to press the switch to release and its a manual if that make any difference

Sorry im not much help, but I adjust mine annually, 3 years so far been good.
I could be wrong but think autos are auto release as std and manuals are er manual release, which is kind of about face as an auto will quite happily hold itself on moderate hills and its the manual models which could use the help.

no battery is only abot 6 months old it happened after about a half hour drive
