Difficult to say at the moment. i've ordered a new pump and when the weather improves, i'll investigate some more. The car hasn't had any hard off road work and is a '58 model, so hopefully the wiring is OK. Looks very clean everywhere else. So i'm hoping that swapping the pump out will fix it.
