Welcome first thing
Right start by checking all brakes are free and not binding, these have a habit of sticking a bit and can cause low MPG to start with then as they get worse, hot wheels/discks etc
Air filter is also prone to blocking a lot earlier than LR say, worth for the cost throwing away and fitting a new one every 12 months.
Also worth checking EGR valves but these normally through up other faults. MY17 D5 1st Edition Namib Orange

Just had my EGRs replaced and the main turbo inlet hose (was split). Fuel consumption gone from 18 mpg to 30 mpg on the lieometer.
EGRs were £126 the pair. Thought about blanking, but decided to keep to original spec. Performance is vastly improved. 2007 Disco3 2.7 tdv6 SE
