I need some more of a particular pop-rivet used in caravan construction, and I can't remember what they are called! Can anyone remind me?
They look like the usual alluminium rivits, but when pulled up they don't form a circular boss on the "inside" but expand out to form four curved hooks that spread the load further out. They are used to fit to sandwich panels when the inside is in effect a thin sheet of hardboard.A vaccine does not stop you catching a virus, or passing it on, or getting ill from it, really ill. Thanks chaps - peel rivet it is! One of the names I tried searching was "banana" rivet, so my sub-conscious was nearly there.
Never seen the other style, but they would be handy in metal where the material was thicker than the length of the rivet.A vaccine does not stop you catching a virus, or passing it on, or getting ill from it, really ill.
