A visitor from RRSport and another new IID tool user as my group buy purchase arrived today
Read and cleared faults
I have upgraded my sound system to a Kenwood one so no longer able to set the correct time on the dash clock, can I do this with the IID tool? If so any pointers to the menus please

Time signal is generated by the radio.
If you've replaced it, you can't update it. Mods:

I’m pretty sure the clock in the dash gets the time from the radio so with no factory radio it will just show - -:- -
Don’t know if it’s possible to flash the dash with the older software from a 05/06 model that didn’t have the clock on the dash.
Pete.IID, webasto software and workshop facility's available.
The clock currently displays but the wrong time as purely a reset from battery disconnect. So if I disconnected and reconnected battery at midnight it would be perfect
Its not a RDS signal clock you just set it via old radio controls and thought it would have been possible. maybe not

Clock on dash - resetting time
Just done a Hard Reset to try and clear 3 amigos (another long story) on my MY05 D3 with the unintended result that the clock on the dash went to --:--
A soft reset with IID Tool BT fixed this (manual ref. 4.7.11). The original fit radio and the dash clock display restarted from 00:01 and responded to normal time adjusting from the knob on the radio. Not sure how this would work with a non-standard radio.
