Does anybody have the specifications what checkpoints are included in the service schemes A, B and C?
And in what order should they be performed?
My car had an A done at 9000 kilometers (about 6000 miles) and is now shortly up for service for the 12 month mark from that (the total milage is now aboute 15000 miles or 22000 kilometers).
Any help appreciated before I go to swedish Land Rover to negotiate.
My LR is a Discovery 3 G4 V8 HSE. D3 G4 V8 HSE

Thanks Craig, knew you'd be quik to lend a hand.
I checked GTR, but find the acces to GTR quite steep moneywise.
Why would that information be covered by the fee,
the service information should be included in manuals as for all other cars...

My service indicator says -5000 odd miles and just 'Service' under it on the display, then a clock symbol and '76'. Am I right in thinking this means its 5000 miles since either the last service should have been done, or when the service indicator should have been reset. What's odd is that the mileage is 72000, but surely the services should be at 60 and 75000 miles? Unless a couple of services have been done early or late to shift the figures. Either way, I suppose the next service is 75000 - any clues on how much that should be, and what is involved? Thanks

Just drop into a LR dealer and ask them. They will find your D3 by its reg number and can tell you its service history.
-5000 from what I can remember means it has gone past its service by 5000 miles. The count down is a positive number. So it may have missed its 60K service. Or as you say, may not have been reset when it was serviced.
Again, get a local LR dealer to double check.
I think my 75K service was £380 or thereabouts. Maybe wrong as it was on my last D3 and I have 'filed' the paperwork away now.

Just spoke to local dealer and they confirm the last service was the 60000 at 52121, so it's been 20000 miles since it was serviced despite being back at the dealers for a new clutch/flywheel and MOT in the last few months. Look like the previous owner was too tight to service it before it was sold! Anyway, they quoted £271.46 for a 75k service which I think is not too bad.
