Drives of a Lifetime

At Xmas and Birthdays I regularly receive books entitled "Drives of a lifetime" or "The World's top ten drives" etc.

Having completed the following:

West Coast USA - Seattle to San Diego (1255 miles )
Florida - Daytona Beach to Key West (418 miles)
New England Circular Route (1366 miles)
Sydney - Brisbane ( 915 km)
Cairns - Port Douglas via Kurander State Forest* (111 km) *Part Off Road
Grossglocker Pass Austria (2504m)
Timmelsjoch Pass Austria (2474m)
Felbertauern toll road in Austria (1650m)
Gerlos Pass Austria(1500m)
Radstädter Tauern Pass Austria (1379m)
Brenner Pass Austria ( 1370m)
Livigno Pass Switz (2315)
San Bernardino Pass Switz (2065m)
St Gotthard Pass Switz (2105m)
Simplon Pass Switz (2009m)
Foscagno Pass Italy (2291m)
Stelvio Pass Italy (2757m)

Plus loads of European Road trips to Spain, Italy, Germany, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Croatia, Slovenia and more.

MY QUESTION IS: Given the time to do three Road Trips of your choice over the next few years what would they be?

I have enjoyed these from the list:

Livigno Pass Switz (2315)
San Bernardino Pass Switz (2065m)
St Gotthard Pass Switz (2105m)
Simplon Pass Switz (2009m)
Foscagno Pass Italy (2291m)
Stelvio Pass Italy (2757m)

Now that’s my sort of holiday Very Happy

I have a little soft spot for the San Bernardino Pass as we love the St Bernard’s hospice at the top of the pass.

If we are taking our electric car, ours would have to be a very short road trip! Rolling with laughter

Lots of fantastic routes in the Pyrenees around Andorra, both tarmac and rough track. Just watch these hossies, they like to nibble bumpers. Rolling Eyes
