Back into the fold
Trading our elderly Disco 3 for a Defender 110 18 months ago for use around the farm, I convinced SWMBO to trade her Lancia Voyager people carrier for a 2015 D4 w. 40k miles on the ODO.
So a little down on practicality, but major upgrade on everything else.
Looking forward to starting the modding process . First things will be a dog crate & ceiling mounted DVD player. One for the kids, the other for the dog...
Any suggestions? I was thinking Alpine on the DVD player & TransK9 for the crate.

In that order. You know it makes sense. Dog will be pleased, esp if you’re showing a Lassie classic.

Love the colour and black pack combo.
For the dvd I would save your money and buy a couple of these:

Managed to have some modifications done the last few weeks quite happy with the results.
Had the Alpine PKG-RSE3HDMI flip-down screen installed. It came with 3 🎧 and an HDMI input in the rear centre console. Had it installed on the sloping part of the headroom liner between the sunroofs. This way you don’t see it in your rear view mirror when it’s folded up. Great unit & great installation.
Also installed the BlackVue 650 front & rear dashcam including battery saver. Had the dashcam lying around from a previous car.
Connected it to the power using piggy back fuses. Great invention!
Also quite chuffed with the result. Unobtrusive when driving.
Finally I have been messing around with my IID tool; activated the timed parking heater, fwiw in the current weather!
Had lots of fun in the process, learning how to take apart my car and putting it back together again.2015 Discovery 4 SDV6 HSE - Montalicino Red
