Glow Plugs??

Hi there!1st post for me so go easy on me!!😂
I’ve got a 2008 V6 Disco that has served me well for 2yrs since purchasing.Since the cold weather has arrived I’ve been having problems starting her with spluttering if she does start as well as loads of white smoke. This all clears itself after about 10 mins by which time the engine is warm, then it’s like driving a tank again!!I’m suspecting glow plugs and I’ve been told this is the problem by one garage(who refused to touch it because they’d snapped one on a previous attempt to replace them)and told that it wasn’t glow plugs but probably more likely dodgy injector which would explain the white smoke???
Any pointers would be very welcome 🙏🙏👍

Is your fuel burning heater working? If it is, just fit a remote start for it and use that to warm the engine on cold mornings (20 min) And it will start immediately and be nice and warm when you turn on the fans!

There's tons written on the subject if you look in the Wiki section under FBH.

The glow plug issue can be addressed later on, or when perhaps you are having other major work done. w I would suggest you only use an experienced LR independent workshop when doing so.
