Costco is one of my favourite places to go - I could spend hours in there if not careful and an awful lot of money, well more than I do now lol.
I knew they had a tyre department and pass it every time I leave the place but it was only last week I asked about tyres and if they could get the Duratrac's. The chap had a job finding the Duratrac's but they sell Goodyear, Bridgestone and Pirelli so he eventually found them on the system and quoted me £130 and odd pence fitted and balanced but said I had to order and pay in advance.
I then looked online and could not get them any cheaper so yesterday I was passing and ordered 5 - to my surprise the chap said "oh and you get £80 off" as I was buying more than 4 which made them cheaper again. I think this offer runs out on the 5th August
Waiting for the call to go have them fitted which should be next week sometime
You do have to be a member but they have relaxed the "need to be" list to become a member and yes there is a fee for the membership but you get money back on what you spend and that more than pays for my membership.
Have to say the meat they sell is top notch and the steaks are fabulous. "UNDERSTEER" ---is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"OVERSTEER" ------is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"HORSEPOWER" -is how fast you hit the fence.
"TORQUE" ------------is how far you take the fence with you.

IIRC the money back is if you go for a higher grade of membership and that costs extra. When you get the voucher for the payback, you can give it back if less than it effectively cost you and get a refund.
We did it for 2 years... year 1 worked for us, 2nd didn't. .

There are 2 forms of money back, firstly you get 2% on everything you spend at Costco on your Costco card which you can either spend at the end of the year or use to offset the fee and secondly, you can have a Costco Amex card acts as a credit card but also as your Costco card when in Costco. You get money back on all shopping I think, but also 1% on anything you purchase in Costco and they send you a voucher at the end of the year so yes if you upgrade to the Amex card you get a double whammy and double discount
My spend in Costco alone not taking into account the Amex offer pays for the membership and then some "UNDERSTEER" ---is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"OVERSTEER" ------is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"HORSEPOWER" -is how fast you hit the fence.
"TORQUE" ------------is how far you take the fence with you.

There’s only 13 Costco fuel stations in the uk so depending on where you live they might not be very close! Luckily they have submitted a planning application for a fuel station at my local Leicester branch! D3 x2 now gone

Fortunately our local Costco has a fuel station and its much cheaper than anywhere else and the fuel is ESSO if I am not mistaken so not bad quality "UNDERSTEER" ---is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"OVERSTEER" ------is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"HORSEPOWER" -is how fast you hit the fence.
"TORQUE" ------------is how far you take the fence with you.

I have just joined as I pass a Costco (Oldham) nearly everyday on the way to the airport. Even if i just fill up there it will save money (As I use over £12,000 worth of fuel a year in just my airport car ) Not sure about my wife going though The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything;
They just make the best of everything they have.

Orderd mine yesterday and had a call today saying they had arrived so off back down on Thursday morning to have them fitted.
I think as long as you order them and pay they will honor the deal "UNDERSTEER" ---is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"OVERSTEER" ------is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"HORSEPOWER" -is how fast you hit the fence.
"TORQUE" ------------is how far you take the fence with you.

Always worth looking at Halfords on line.
Got 4 good year 18" Wranglers fitted for £115.75 each.
And they did a changeover on 2 rims as well.
