When you say charging current was reduced for newer vehicles, do you mean D4s or only D4s after a certain date? Is that something that is set in stone or can I iiD change it? .

Early D4s had wet cell batteries fitted, they need to be told in the CCF what battery is being fitted it the type is being changed, ISTR there is also a facility to say a new battery has been fitted including the aux stop start battery if fitted. It can when others can't,
