Somerset to Loch Ness

Took the fiancé away for the weekend, for her birthday. She always wanted to go to
Loch Ness and i figured it would be quite a nice drive to have going through the great glen. I wasn’t wrong! 1182 miles, 42 gallons of fuel!

Nice photos, but then I like rain! You’ve got a smattering of Glencoe in there.

It’s the furthest north I’ve ever been. I used to go to Stirling and cowie nearly weekly, but going across the glen was a new experience for me. It really bucketed it down yesterday. Lots of localised flooding and the odd car on its roof on the a82 Whistle

😂 no, however we did see a weird wave formation which I could see how people would distinguish as a sighting

After years of travelling that road, If there had been a monster, I am surprised I never knocked it down. Laughing

The monster is usually seen during May - just before the tourist season .........

That’s close enough to count.
