That's great news. ( and you put it up for my birthday) Let me know if it holds out.
I've not had a chance to get to mine yet but had a new fault today with the all terrain system shutting down due to poor suspension info. So I have 3 faults, a simple suspension fault, a brake system fault due to poor ride height controller info and an all terrain fault due to poor ride height controller info.
I think I will do the compressor kit next. Disco 4 2012

So far so good. When lowering the car the sound of the air exhausting is much louder than before, like it can really gush out of the system now.
Just before doing the compressor it would constantly flip between a yellow suspension fault warning and a red.

Done mine now with an X8R kit
Had a lot of trouble with seized pipe fittings but got there in the end. ,
1st test drive seemed ok but allas, still tripping into extended mode just as it reaches access height, but not raising though. I think I will let it go for a bit to see if things even out.
My desiccant seemed OK but the filter pads are hardened and difficult to pass air through.
I fitted the upgraded face plate also.
How did you deal with the top bracket bolt? Disco 4 2012

Ah that's annoying. Mine has started throwing another suspension error which I think is related to the compressor valve block leaking internally now that the air tank is holding a higher pressure since servicing the compressor..... When will it end!!
Did you change the exhaust valve as well or just the X8R kit? Have you logged what the height sensors are doing? What about doing a suspension height calibration?
I didn't find the top bolt as bad as I was expecting. I used two extension bars and a universal joint to join them together. And that just about reached over the top of the compressor to the bolt.

I'll probably regret later but I cut a Slot in the back plate so the top bolt can be put in (and the bracket hooked on after. It made it very easy to fit. I think the returning to extended mode may have something to do with calibration as my suspension is set lower than standard so we shall see. All in all £800.00 garage bill reduced to a service kit of £30 so I'm happy.
Next project expansion tank. Only Land rover could design a float switch that sinks Disco 4 2012

Hi Dazz
Yes, mine was done with a £30.00 pump repair kit and a couple of hours work. The filter was blocked stopping air passing through quick enough Disco 4 2012
