Just a reply thats all as I said I do this for a living. So when ill advice is given I feel the need to reiterate the point before someone could feasibly waste their hard earned cash

Ken,
I understand what you are saying. Nice of you to point out potential waste of money on what may appear to be a good alternative to a 'proper' repair and spray Thumbs Up .
I Just felt the:
Quote:
Oh the lord has spoken again Rolling with laughter wtf do you know I do this for a living and your qualification is talking Censored

was a bit too personal and could have been rephrased.
See a lot of unnecccessary snide comments in other threads thats all Very Happy .
 regards
Peter

may I suggest you go back and read all the relevant posts before casting your own moral opinions and what's up with a bit of spice anyway.

Just that when using text based messaging/forums it is hard to tell the tone of what the writer is saying and whether it is in jest or sincere, unlike FTF interaction.
In case you are unaware there is a lot of snide remarks and innuendo in some of the threads, that is unneccessary and offputting and does nothing for the reputation of the site or the people making the comments. A number of people (including myself) feel it is uncalled for and have mentioned it to Martin.

AND I have the right not to have to put up with such carrying on in a forum that I want to be part of. If no-one says anything or shows their displeasure at it it just allows those making the comments to continue unchecked until it gets to the point people leave and we start to lose the very thing that makes this site so great...the members. I have been around enough forums long enough and know it has happened.
Nothing wrong with a bit of spice...in particular 'baby' spice Mr. Green

Peter

and when people post potentially damaging info even though it has been repeatedly stated otherwise by those who actaully work in the profession, then people can also become frustrated and disillusioned and also leave the site because of this wrong info but with a bitter pill to swallow

I'm very aware as I'm probably one of the ones you're on about.

you say it is hard to get the tone which is why I stated earlier about reading all of the relevant info not just this extract.

No point really Rolling Eyes
But I do read most threads and I found it interesting this one was going on at the same time as I was expressing my 'moral opinion' Whistle

As I don't have 5 bucks just now I can't argue Very Happy (thats a smiley at the end there, meaning I said it in jest)
