[For Sale] Mantec LoadLugga
These are some of the heavy bits, too big or heavy to ship.
****SOLD****MY11 D4 sump plate/guard, non winch version. £120
Mantec LoadLugga NON DOG GUARD VERSION
£120
Here seen in action with the bolt extension trick.

Only “issue” with this as the good peeps at Mantec didn’t “thread” one side of the rack so it needs a smaller bolt. Will include the normal hex nuts & bolts I’ve used so it can go up in extended mode or normal mode. I can’t find the fancy bolts that came with it (holds the “tray” bit to the bracket) but the bolts shown do the trick nicely.
The LL is in Grantown on Spey so could be collected from there or RV, say, in Inverness or half way between here and Aberdeen. Re points South, one of us will be heading that way in the next few of weeks or so, we should be able to work something out.
This price includes donation to the site.

Ok, as a little sweetener for the sump plate it will come with this ltr of oil, with sump guard as it’s the only D4 specific part I’ve got on sale.

Hermes, cost you about £10. Easily arranged and lots of pick up and drop off points at local shops.Discovery 4 3.0 HSE 2010 year. I like it a lot. Now with winch 😂

That’s who we’re using, but pick up only as the nearest drop off point is 35 miles away.

OK, have had a look for packing cardboard etc and can ship. CinC logistics (SWMBO) has it at £7.74. DISCO3HSE2018 has first dibs.

I'm interested in the sump guard. My car is a MY12 but looks similar to your MY11 so I suspect it would fit. I can pop up to GoS for a look see this week possibly.D1 300Tdi - gone

No prob with you popping up, we’re here any time, but will bung up a “does this fit” thread to see what those more knowledgable than me.
If it looks a go-er we could always meet up half way, say at House of Bruar.

Thanks.
Aaargh. No not Bruar...anything but Bruar....! (Actually, the Watermill in Blair Atholl is a nicer stop albeit with less tweed.)
I'm happy to get myself to GoS if it looks as though the thing will fit. I enjoy driving.

It does indeed. Looks the same as when I put my D4 back together after I took off the guard.
Basically the centre bit comes out with some coin turned plastic screw things, then it’s a case of unscrew the fixing for the side spoilers, mix of posi and one small torx each side, offer the plate up and do the bolts, then jobs a good un.

Sorry, missed this. More than happy if you want to have a wee run to up here if you’d prefer, can have bacon & egg rolls on the go plus free running tea or coffee. Can do that or Blair Atholl.
