Tis a lot I think. Doesn't give much info on how it's all integrated and doesn't allow returns either by the looks of it

I asked the seller and it is via Aux and wired in so charges when the car is on. Looks exactly the same as you have done

I would be interested to see the comparison between the 2 setups as I've built mine from scratch with no help, in other words unique to me. Mine boots up when ignition on and shuts down 1min after ignition off. The booting up is the worst part of this mod but still up and running in a minute or so. I'm wondering if that guy selling has anything to do with who I helped in the post I linked earlier

I've just bought one. Any help you can offer about how you wired it in for charging and audio would be gratefully received! £400 is taking the as it doesn't even include fitting!

How did you wire yours in to boot up like that etc?
I did the same install a while ago in my D4. Wired into aux etc, but as I have a split charge system, I plugged mine directly to the inverter.
I generally leave the unit on airplane mode, so it uses very little battery when not being used, and its "always" on.
I have an app called Stay Alive, so when I am driving the screen stays on, but when I get out it goes off after 20 seconds.
I enabled "gestures" on the tablet, so i just double tap the screen and its on.

You'll need a 2m right angled charging cable and I bought 3m right angled Jack plug. Usb plugs in left hand power outlet via a 2amp cigarette lighter to usb converter and Jack plug run along edge of centre console and into rear aux socket.
Powering on and off via ignition requires the Tablet to be rooted which is not something I could explain but googling may help.

Lazylen so you have the power plugged in to the ciggie lighter and the audio plugged in to aux? I'm hoping to hide all the wires (even if involved splicing behind the scenes).
Thanks for the inspiration!

My power line comes out the bottom of the H Trim, 2in exposed and same for the Aux really. Was going to splice mine in but have decided I prefer to be able to unplug the power so garages can't fiddle and also if I wanted to quickly move my car. I'll answer and help as much as I can. Don't forget, if you use a Android phone I can get your phone to be used via the Tablet but not with a iPhone or Windows phone
