[Wanted] Snowchains - 19"
Wanted, set of snow-chains to suit D4 wheels 255/55/19.
I know the in's & outs and having had a set on my old D2 which saved my bacon more than once on slippy iced up roads (admittedly pulling cars) I'm looking for some more.
Also got a forthcoming ski trip which I'll need them for.
Thanks,
Sandy.

Thanks for the replies & offers.
I've taken a look at those systems and to be honest they look like a pain to use & fit.
I suspect they would be OK for 1 off installations (i.e. fit at the start of a ski trip then leave on until end of a trip). But they look like a faff for short term requirements.
Have you used them yourselves? How are they to use?
I've got to consider that in the UK my wife uses the D4 for work in the snow, the old D2 would get most places with the chains only being required for short steep hills, icy sections and pulling cars off the roads to get past.
The old chains I had - this type -https://snowchains.co.uk/product/?brand=We...&p=RTS - were easy to chuck on & off as required.
I'm not sure she would be keen for the extra parts that need installing if she gets caught out.
As I say no experience of the type you have offered, any feed back as the usability is welcome?!
Thanks again,
Sandy.
