Just use some Brimstone missiles without warheads. Designed to hit high speed moving vehicles so a moped should be an easy ask.Visiting from rrsport.co.uk

About time. They could go on to hit someone trying to get away. I've a friend who got dragged down the road when her handbag was stolen. Ten years later she's still on painkillers because of the injuries.I'm to old to know everything......

D3 gone ...... But now want one for knocking about! Is this a form of insanity?
Shame the coppers training seems to include stomping on the brake pedal after hitting the scums mopedLRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.

In my area we have problems with bikers, they tear up and down the playing field at the bottom of my street, which is popular with dog walkers. The bikers ride pretty close to people, they’ve scared my dog a few times by revving their engine and riding close up to her. Very intimidating. Police up here are powerless, they at the moment at least can’t give chase.
It’s about time tougher action is taken.
These are not "bikers" . They use mopeds and/or bikes, but please don't tar real bikers with the same brush.
Agree, not bikers! Just yobs riding illegally. It would be the same if 4x4's driving on said playing field.

Just get a friend and each stand either side of the track these riders are using. Just before they get level with you, both do a 'pulling-a-rope tight at neck height' mime.

They don’t use mopeds in my area, they use dirt bikes, so in my eyes they are still bikers.23.5MY Defender 90 X-Dynamic SE D250 MHEV Pangea Green

The view of us is/was
Researchers who studied the behaviour of drivers of the all-terrain vehicles say that they took more risks because they felt safer than drivers of smaller cars. Scornfully known as Chelsea tractors due to their increasing appearance on urban streets, few 4x4s have seen more mud than can be picked up on a private school sports field. Teachers have tried to ban them and politicians want to impose penal tax rates on them - up to £2,000 a year, 10 times the normal road tax, in the latest proposal from the Liberal Democrats. They have been widely condemned as gas-guzzling, road-hogging and environmentally damaging. And the new front opened by the medical profession is bound further to inflame the debate on Britain's most controversial vehicle.
All starts with taring a group with the same brush.
I am both a biker (off road and on road) and a 4x4 owner. I would say that neither of the behaviour in the two posts represent those groups.
However I could be wrong and you lot could all road hogs with small willys... An honorable defeat is better than a dishonorable victory.” ― Millard Fillmore

Taking it to an extreme, I’m sure we’d feel pretty sick if one of our (innocent) relatives were deliberately knocked down and possibly even killed having been misidentified.
You have lived in the Countryside for too long surrounded by pleasantness and politeness... i’m afraid living in the City is not all innocent and light.... unfortunately the gangs have taken over the asylum and were until recently doing exactly what they wanted and the police were powerless to do anything about it.
Research the robbery figures in the Metropolitan areas and you will see astronomical increases...mopeds were the perfect tool for robberies, armed robberies, stabbing, shootings and behaving like you were living life in a video game...
Calling a policeman a criminal for trying to stop these people in order that you can sleep peacefully at night is a bit of an insult!

I was talking on the phone to my best mate when the pillion on a moped tried and failed to grab his iPhone. He was at The Elephant & Castle, London and it must have been 3-4 years ago.
That was probably just at the start of what has become almost an epidemic in London. Although the Met. say the figures have now fallen dramatically.
