IID Fault UNKNOWN-00 (2F)

Evening all,
Mate has just picked up a new discovery and when checking codes it’s coming up with an unknown error.

Engine TDV 6
- UNKNOWN-00 (2F)

Anyone any offers on what it could be?

Thanks in advance!

Might have had a cheap remap as some of them rename fault codes....
Makes it really useful when trying to diagnose stuff..... Rolling Eyes

DTC P00000 - No Signal / No communication on 2008 D3

Hi

Had some problems with EGR valves, so I had them blanked and did a software delete at a local firm here in Norway.

The software delete is supposed to "remove" DTC P0402/P0405/P0489/P0490

The car has been running great for 2 months, but has now startet to throw P0000 and goes to limp mode. This sometimes occors after the car reminds me to run at DPF-clean

My car is a 2008 with DPF and I know and EGR-delete is not recomended.
Have orderd a IID-Tool BT and its in the mail

Now to my question: is it possible to apply the DPF-delete patch from BAS if it is the DPF that is causing the problems. (questinon regarding the DPF-patch: do I have to "empty" the DPF-filter?)

And is it possible to also apply the EGR-delete patch from BAS on a 2008 D3 ?

Hi Vidar,
I know you can apply the BAS EGR delete to a2008 D3 add I did it to mine recently.

But on the DPF bits you might be best to pay another article as some of the clever people here are more likely to see it. Thumbs Up

Regards
Chris

I was also keen to blank the EGR so I contacted Pete Bell. But he told me cars with DPF can't be blanked.

If there are any other solutions for that, please tell me Very Happy

Thank you for the feedback Very Happy

Got at reply from BAS:

Hi
For the egr patch on the iid tool you would need to purchase both dpf removal and also egr patch from us.

You could also need to remove the contents of the dpf exhaust manually on the car.
