Heated front seat problems |
|
Hi all.
Just replaced both my front seats (beige to black), but unfortunately neither seat heater is working. Switches illuminate, but Hawkeye is reporting zero current to each seat. Fuses all look OK (and they're on separate fuses?).
Any ideas please?
Many thanks in advance.

I guess there is no reason for asking if you're sure the new seats have heating, and the connectors all in place.
The two seat elements are connected in series. Measure and compare resistance on old and new seats. No connection = broken element.

Connectors all good; definitely heating elements in place; similar resistance between new and old seats.
mystified...

Then it's all about measuring where the power stops
