ive noticed my rear window heaters are not working.
i have checked fuse F13 in the glove box. other than that i understand there is a relay that operates the heaters automatically if the temperature is below 4 degrees. i still need to check that relay.
other than than that, does anyone have any pointers please  Landrover discovery 3, 2005, TDV6, manual, 5 seats

If you are talking about the rear side window heaters, there is no such thing, they are aerials.

Okay! that explains those then. my boot window is the crux of this problem im having though Landrover discovery 3, 2005, TDV6, manual, 5 seats

You need to press the button on the dash to turn it on.
Otherwise a wire could have failed at the top of the tailgate
