You can release it manually for now until you get diagnostics on it. Remove suspension settings/gear surround panel, locate the cable near handbrake switch with a loop at the end. Straddle yourself between the front seats above the cable. Using a screwdriver or other long slim bar place it into the loop and pull the cable upwards with a hard tug to release the handbrake. PUT THE CAR IN GEAR FIRST otherwise it might roll away!!!yµ (idµ - eAµ) ψ=mψ

Guys
Well I’ve just gone back out to her like 30 mins later and started her up and although the fault was still there I pulled the lever up and left it there for like 10 secs. I then pushed it down and another information screen came up with push break or clutch to release handbreak. I did and it all worked
Problem solved ????
Not sure what had happened

That'll be the new year gremlins Might be worth a diagnostic check as it could be just the handbrake switch needing replacement.yµ (idµ - eAµ) ψ=mψ
