Personally I would get the proper training and then buy a better bit of kit
As has been said that is basic and probably over priced
My lad has a big first aid kit in his car complete with de fib O2 bag and mask pulse oxymeter blood pressure monitor etc

Is your lad in the medical profession Russell?
I bought a bag I liked and filled it over time with decent kit and more advanced items as I gained the knowledge of how to use them.
If you have mates in the military then ask them to get you some Israeli bandages and a C.A.T tourniquet!

Both of us are in fire service and co respond
My lad is just finished training to go into ambulance service as well
