The lenghts we have to go to to proof we are not lawyers.

Yeah, but that one is in the shop more than what it was in the quarry. Why is the fear of long words called hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia?

Do any of you guys knows if the D3 has a floating brake caliper system? I dont know if the brakes have an anti-rattle device? Mines starting to make a racket after they replaced the pads?
Would appreciate the insight

Might I suggest you repost your question as a new topic on the Techical group - I don't think anyone is following this post anymore

I wanted to suggest this, but was afraid of being called a bully, or picking on the locals.
2006LR3, there is a wisdom of knowledge out there, and it gets frequented by all members, which does not always happen on the Africa forum. Why is the fear of long words called hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia?

The calipers are single-piston, the caliper moves to provide pressure on the non-piston side, moving in the caliper bracket so I assume this is what you mean by floating?
That style of caliper shouldn't cause a rattle per se though, maybe it is the pad themselves causing the noise or you have picked up a stone in the pads maybe?? Cheers
