Times two. Been with Flack today for a D4 belt change (all three). He makes it look easy. But that’s the issue - it’s not
Pleasure to talk to. Great skills. I have learnt much today. Many thanks "Track day running - Don't put your foot back on the accelerator until your absolutely sure you don't have to take it off again"

Hi Flack do you work on other LR’s such as 2011 L322 4.4tdv8. If so I’m looking for a new alternator to be supplied and fitted

Hi Flack, are you still operating your mobile cambelt/oil pump fitting service?
Sorry to hijack this thread but I'm new here and don't have sufficient privileges to send PM's just yet...
Cheers, Joe

As is also evident, I don't know how to tag people.

Hi Flack,
Out of interest how much would it be for the timing belts and oil pump change of an 05 D3 please? Also, what is the ballpark time to do it as I assume Huddersfield is a bit far too?
Cheers

I was wondering the exact same question too, given I might need time to save up! I presume the normal install is 3x belts, 2x idler pulleys, 2x tensioners. Are you able to do the water pump at the same time as well as the new style oil pump?
My car is a MY06 55 plate TDV6.
Thanks

Yes the water pump is a 5 min job when doing the belts, I always change that at the same time, unless its just had one fitted.
It takes around 3.5 hours to do the front and rear belts plus the Oil pump.
The ball park figure of around £700 to £750, seems to be the going rate for the whole, job in this area, but I have seen silly quotes around £900.00 to £1200.00.

Thanks for the ballpark figure, that's very helpful, thank you. I presume you supply all the required parts etc?
Later on in the year, probably late summer I'll be ready for this and would be more than happy to travel to you to get it done.
