What has the ECHR got to do with Julian Assange and him being a fugitive from British justice.
Failing to surrender to bail in the U.K. is a criminal offence under U.K. law
Maximum sentence under U.K. law is 12 months imprisonment. Part of U.K. sentencing guidelines considers the length of absconding and the fact that the culprit might have left U K jurisdiction. Assange has absconded for a lengthy period of time and left the U.K. jurisdiction. That in theory means he may well receive the maximum sentence prescribed by U.K. law.
As for the UN decision about arbitrary detention which was NOT legally binding on the U.K. that was a crock of !
Assange was a fugitive from U.K. justice and the U.K. was not preventing him from leaving the Ecuadorean embassy.
Dan what you have shown is a total lack of understanding on how the U.K. legal system works.
Now what industrial dairy production in the USA has got to do with how the British legal system works is beyond me.
Now if you want to pander to your obsession about how the UK deals with fugitives from U.K. justice I suggest you look at the case of Ronald Biggs.

Its really eerie how so many people blindly beleive what they are told to beleive.
You only question the ones that question the official version.
Dream on.

Its not the punishment in the UK, but the extradiction I refer to in context with the ECHR.. ..exactly as I wrote in the post.
The dairy bit is for MOO, its a personal dilemma for him (her?).

I’ll be honest, I don’t give a monkey chuff about the guy. He’s not my problem, they can take him anywhere they want and do anything to him about that they wish.

Well page 3 and a certain U.K. ‘newspaper’ had something to deal with another U.K. fugitive from justice.
What annoyed me about that case within hours of that fugitive being back in U.K. custody he was seen by hospital consultants whereas non criminal U.K. citizens were waiting 6 months.

Dan it is you who are believing complete bull .
That rubbish you referred to state that the U.K. police invaded the Ecuadorian embassy when in the same sentence stated they were invited in.
You do not invade something if you are invited in.
Now if the U.K. receives a valid European Arrest Warrant I for one would expect the U.K. to carry out due process and action the arrest warrant as defined by U.K. law and by U.K. courts.
What has the ECHR got to do with a valid European Arrest Warrant? If Sweden or any other European country issues a VALID European Arrest Warrant I would expect the U.K. legal system to follow due process
Now if the U.K. receives an arrest warrant/extradition request from a non European country I would expect the U.K. to act upon it under U.K. law and the U K legal system.
if you do not like the U.K. legal system then tough.
As for U.K. politicians getting involved they should keep their noses out and leave it to the court system as there should be complete separation from the government and the jurisdiction.

60 Disco.
You don't have a clue, like most of the others on this thread.
We had a 'peace keeping' group there, with only small weapons. Backup was requested for air support,
that never came, thanks to the US general in charge. And we got the blame.

I see that your interests are
"I lost interest in the D3 forum. What a bunch of tossers."
Kind of explains your trolling.
Moderators do we need this?
This is supposed to be about D3&D4 and a bit of humour and discussions, not trolling by a supposedly 'Dutch' troll.

Well, maybe they were. Maybe there was a reason for the recent rants, Bols?
But I find the recent ones misguided, Unnecessary and quite frankly completely off Topic on a D3 and D4 That he thinks is: - "I lost interest in the D3 forum. What a bunch of tossers"
So why keep posting if that is what he thinks of the community?
Oh and that includes you! But I am sure you will laugh that off!!! As you have a great sense of humour, Maybe a bit on the dark site but still great!
I'll get me coat!
