Just wanted to buy a tool, but ok what’s the main advantage of Iid tool over nanocom one in your opinion if comes to D2 diag ? The Old rangies do not go mad, they mad go

If you need a tool for both D2 and D3 you might consider buying separate ones for each. IID won't do the D2 but you're better asking on the D2 forum about what's best choice for that.
For the D3 either IID or icarsoft (not as capable but significantly cheaper).
While the Nanocom could do both, the licences aren't cheap and it fell out of favour years ago.

I had both Nanocom Evo and also Hawkeye for my TD5 Discovery
There are a few subtle differences with them, depends what you want it to do.
Having used the GAP IID BT diagnostic for my Disco 3, I now see how difficult the others were on my TD5.
I wouldn't buy different licences for the one reader as you will loose a fair amount of cash on resale.
At one point I had the Nanocom for my TD5 and also one for my P38 project and sold both on when I sold the motors.

I am hoping someone may have nanocom one for sale
Was hoping “ all other items “ section is the right place to ask
